The Times Of India reported todat that all is not well between SRK and Ganguly. There are several reasons, and at the top of it is SRK’s insistence that Ganguly talk to the West Bengal CM to try and abolish the entertainment tax that SRK is paying for matches at Eden Gardens. Ganguly, who’s known to be close to the CM, refused.
But the reason cannot be as simple as what is being potrayed. I think all this is coming out the same reason Vijay Mallya and Dravid are square with each other - The KnightRider’s near-certain exit from the IPL. The article hints that SRK is blaming it on Dada’s declining form, and the lack of any solid performance after McCullum’s blitz in Match #1.
I have this feeling that the IPL drama is not going to be over after the Finals. The team owners and captains of the bottom 4 are going to be in a big spat, and there’s going to be a lot of pressure on the BCCI to clarify the player trading rules when the trading window opens. Fun!
